He delayed his commitment to songwriting and performing and jumped headfirst into a life lived on his terms. Unencumbered by career aspirations, Jack worked as a sound and recording engineer, commercial writer/director, Peace Corps volunteer, bicycling coach, and dramatist. Along the way he lived in a tent in Taos, a sailboat in the Bahamas, a hut in Panama, and an Airstream in too many places to remember.
